Hi, I’m Mina Zarbat, founder of Smart Accounting Training.
After more than a decade of working hands-on in Canadian accounting, I decided to bring everything I’ve learned into a practical, accessible training platform for people who want real skills, not just theory.

Throughout my years in accounting, I’ve worked closely with businesses on their day-to-day financial operations: bookkeeping, payroll, government remittances, reporting, solving problems, and supporting teams. Everything I teach comes from real experience, real challenges, and real Canadian workplaces.

What I noticed over time is that many newcomers, job seekers, and even business owners struggle not because they lack ability, but because traditional courses don’t prepare them for what actually happens inside a company. Employers expect practical skills, confidence with tools like QuickBooks Online, and an understanding of how the daily accounting workflow really works.
